Don’t confuse this with the Johnny Depp movie of the same name, because they couldn’t be any more different.
Chocolate is about an autistic girl named Zen who has the uncanny ability to learn any talent simply by watching someone do it. Her mother is sick and needs treatment, however the goons she use to run with that owe her money are refusing to pay up. Let’s just say Zen isn’t going to take no for an answer and unfortunately for them she’s been watching a lot of Kung Fu movies lately.
The movie is one big action extravaganza strung together between a few good intentioned if sappy scenes. This was a fun movie that had a lot of memorable fight scenes and an interesting premise.
This totally reminds me of a Heroes episode where there is a girl who can learn anything that she sees - from cooking to kicking, she's at the head of the class!
