A vicious, fast acting flesh eating virus manages to get into the punch bowl at a local prom, and yes its ever bit as gore drenched as your wild and sick imagination could muster up. We have loose fingernails, caved in faces, projectile blood vomit, a nail gun to the eye. Shall I continue, I’m really just scratching the surface here. But hey I don’t want to spoil everything for you.
The movie was pretty dumb, but gore hounds will be in heaven and it actually contained some surprisingly funny and clever dialog which bumps it up a few points in my book. You think the prom scene in Carrie was messed up, you haven’t seen nothing yet. Picture a John Hughes movie done by Troma but with a bigger budget and thats what you have here. I thought it was worth a watch, but I probably wouldn’t go back a second time. Fans of the first movie should like it.
